Responsibilities:
- A thorough knowledge of the customer’s acquisition processes and organizations as well as a strong team player with demonstrated experience in identifying and leading both domestic and international business initiatives into profitable growing government and/or commercial market sectors.
- Possess an extensive knowledge of current and prospective federal and government Business Area customers and competitors at all levels of their organizations.
- He or she must be able to obtain and analyze market and competitive intelligence data and apply to new opportunities.
- Travel is required for this position.
- The candidate will provide critical leadership and support in strategic business development through the post submission phases of the Business Acquisition Phases.
- The candidate will formulate, communicate and implement an integrated business and capture strategy that provides the customer with a clear and defensible justification for award.
- He or she will develop and implement capture plans and strategies, understand the customer’s requirements and the competition and develop / implement winning strategies that highlight strengths and mitigate weaknesses; establish value added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures to create a profitable return at a winning cost.
- The candidate will also have held positions where personal contributions and demonstrated business development capabilities were directly responsible for growth and enhanced profitability.
