Head of Purchasing
Responsibilities
1) Manage a team of Buyers
2) Plan and allocate purchasing objectives to Buyers
3) Drive and follow up on purchasing KPIs and deadlines, resolve issues escalated by Buyers.
4) Report to management weekly on all purchasing KPIs
Requirements
1) Able to communicate (written and spoken) fluently in English
2) 2 years’ experience in leading a purchasing and planning team
3) Degree holder, preferably in Engineering
4) Organized, meticulous and disciplined
Buyer
Responsibilities
1)Follow up with suppliers for delivery commitment against PO, update commitment into SAP system.
2)Issue reschedule request and forecast to suppliers.
3)Keeping suppliers aligned to material requirements. Pull in or push out delivery with suppliers.
4)Follow up with suppliers on all delivery related issues. Eg. Shipment pre-alert, delivery delinquency
Requirements
1) Able to communicate (written and spoken) fluently in English
2) Proficient in Microsoft Excel
3) Degree holder, preferably in Engineering
4) 2 years’ experience in Planning, Scheduling or Purchasing
